You should register for occupational health and safety reasons and for statistics on volunteer numbers. You will need to collect, and return, rubbish bags to an official site for disposal.

Be sure to wear strong shoes and long pants, bring gloves, a mobile phone if you have one, and wear appropriate sun protection.
