2011 Walks and Talks
Our walks are open to all who want to experience our wonderful local bushland. Booking is preferred (so we have an idea of numbers) and please remember to wear suitable shoes and to bring water, snacks, a hat, sun screen, insect repellent and wet weather gear if necessary.
We offer two walking experiences:
- Our STEP Out Recreational Walks are geared towards general bush walking for the reasonably fit, so they are not suitable for toddlers or for anyone who has difficulty walking. They are usually held on the third Sunday of the month, begin at 10 am, take approximately two or three hours and end at a local coffee shop.
- Our traditional walks are usually more leisurely and they concentrate on various aspects of the natural world such as flora, fauna, fungi and geology. They conclude with complimentary refreshments.
