Bob Conroy will describe the nature\, distribution and conservation of recorded Aboriginal site traits such as r ock engravings\, shelters with art\, occupational deposits and grinding gr ooves across the northern suburbs of Sydney. Bob has more than 40 years of experience in protected area management in both operational and executi ve roles with NPWS and the Jenolan Caves Reserve Trust. He is a member of the NSW Bush Fire Coordinating Committee\, the Rural Fire Service Advisory Council\, the Emergency Leaders for Climate Action and a recent member of the NPWS Greater Sydney Advisory Committee. Bob is a member of the Ku-rin g-gai Georegion Steering Committee\, a volunteer with the RFS\, a member o f WCPA\, an expert assessor under the IUCN Green List program\, a bushwalk ing guide with Hornsby Council\, a member of the NPA and NSW Linnean Socie ty and a Churchill Fellow.
